Chennai Super Kings v Sunrisers Hyderabad
2/10/20, 3pm (BST) 2020, Dubai
CHENNAI SUPER KINGS –
SUNRISERS HYDERABAD –
Both of these sides are desperately in search of a victory with the Super Kings winless since the opening match victory over Mumbai Indians. It’s not just the defeat that will disappoint coach Stephen Fleming but the manner of those defeats with the Super Kings getting nowhere near to the total they were chasing in their last two matches.
As for the Sunrisers, they got a much needed victory last time out against Delhi Capitals, with England’s Jonny Bairstow starring with the bat to give them their first win of the IPL season. The teams shared a win apiece in the tournament last campaign but the IPL betting for this match makes Chennai narrow favourites, perhaps due to their fantastic home form last season when they won six of their seven matches.
The Super Kings are favourites in this market, perhaps because of the firepower of Shane Watson at the top of the order but he’s hardly been firing on all cylinders so far in 2020, with just 51 runs from three matches.
In comparison, Jonny Bairstow and David Warner look much more likely to clear the boundary, along with Manish Pandey and some heavy hitting down the order.
|Faf du Plessis – 173||Jonny Bairstow – 119|
