Sunrisers Hyderabad v Mumbai Indians
3/11/20, 2pm (GMT), Sharjah
WINNER
SUNRISERS HYDERABAD – 11/10
V
MUMBAI INDIANS – 8/11
Match Preview
Mumbai Indians have the luxury of heading into the match already qualified in first place for the play-offs, but there is still a lot riding on the final game of the regular season with Sunrisers Hyderabad looking to snatch fourth place.
Net run rate is in favour of Sunrisers, so they know that a win will secure their place in the final four at the expense of either Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders or Royal Challengers Bangalore – depending on Monday’s result.
Sunrisers have won their last two games with their backs against the wall to get themselves into a position to qualify, but face the unenviable task of taking on an in-form Mumbai team.
Our Prediction
Suryakumar Yadav to hit over 2.5 boundaries – 1/1
This is a man in hot form with scores of 40, 79* and 12* in his last three knocks having assumed greater responsibility in the absence of Rohit Sharma.
Mumbai will want to cash in early before Rashid Khan comes on to tighten the screw and Yadav has the ability to hit all around the ground once he has been in for a while so he should offer good value.
