Bangladesh v India – 2nd Test

On Thursday the 22nd of December Bangladesh and India come together once again for the 2nd and last Test match of this series in Mirpur. After winning the first match, India needs a win or a draw to ensure a Test series victory over Bangladesh.
India took a 1-0 series lead after winning the first Test match in Chattogram by 188 runs. Kuldeep Yadav was the player of the match taking match figures of 8 for 113, including a five-for in the first innings. While Chesteshwar Pujara was the star for India with the bat scoring 90 in the first innings and then 102 not out in the second. Shubman Gill also registered his first Test century in the second innings.

Colombo Stars v Galle Gladiators – Lanka Premier League 2022

The loser of this match will be eliminated from the tournament, while the winner will get a chance at playing in Qualifier 2 against the loser of the Kandy Falcons and Jaffna Kings.
The Colombo Stars finished third in the league table with only three wins from eight games. While the Galle Gladiators crept through on net run rate ahead of the Dambulla Aura with two wins from their eight games. However, the Gladiators are on a poor run at the moment with a four-game losing streak.

Adelaide Strikers v Sydney Thunder – KFC Big Bash League 2022

On Tuesday the 20th of December, the Adelaide Strikers take on the Sydney Thunder at the Adelaide Oval. The two teams come together once again after playing each other in a historic match a week ago which saw the Thunder bowled out for the lowest total in T20 cricket history, for only 15 in 5.5 overs!
At the time of writing and although only in the stages of the tournament, the Strikers currently sit at the table having won two from two so far. While for the Thunder, this will be their fourth game of the tournament, of which they have won one and lost two so far.
After their devastating and humiliating defeat at the hands of the Strikers, the Thunder had a much-improved performance against the Melbourne Renegades, but unfortunately still suffered defeat by 4 wickets.
The Strikers obviously had that memorable win over the Thunder, but they also recorded a win against titleholders the Sydney Sixers. With these two dominant wins, the Sixers have looked like the best team in the tournament so far, but it is obviously still early days. Strikers fast bowler, Henry Thornton, has been the most impressive player in the tournament so far, as he has picked up 9 wickets in just these first two games.
With such an emphatic victory in their first match a week ago, and with Adelaide being at home for this game, we expect them to do the double over Thunder this year. We also expect Rashid Khan to have a big impact and for him to be the player of the match.
