Sunrisers Hyderabad v Royal Challengers Bangalore
21/9/20, 3pm (BST), Dubai
SUNRISERS HYDERABAD – 8/11
ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE – 11/10
That means David Warner will be back to lead Sunrisers and continue his devastating opening partnership with Jonny Bairstow, while Moeen Ali and the in-form Aaron Finch will be looking to cement their places in the RCB side in the third match of the rescheduled IPL season.
Sunrisers have been the nearly men in recent years but the appointment of World Cup-winning coach Trevor Bayliss makes them one of the front runners in this year’s competition, and they are 8/11 favourites to get off to a winning start.
Warner struggled to find any form in England but if there is one thing we all know, it’s that he thrives in the IPL and on flat wickets. The best place to bat in the UAE will be at the top of the order and he loves leading from the front, so expect him to make an immediate impact against RCB’s suspect attack.
It takes a brave person to bet against Virat Kohli, but we’re backing Warner’s match practice to count in his favour this time round but keep an eye out for Aaron Finch, who could offer good value at 3/1 in the same market if he bats at the top of the order.
