Sunrisers Hyderabad v Delhi Capitals
27/10/20, 2pm (GMT), Dubai
SUNRISERS HYDERABAD – 11/10
DELHI CAPITALS – 8/11
Defeat to Kings XI Punjab, when they threw away an almost certain victory, left Sunrisers Hyderabad facing elimination from the IPL and they are left needing to win every game while hoping other results go in their favour.
Kings XI beating KKR means they are still alive, but they must get past a Delhi Capitals side first that has lost their last two games.
The Capitals will be keen to arrest that slump before the play-offs start and they will be looking to their batting line-up to deliver having been too reliant on Shikhar Dhawan in recent matches.
The Capitals are favourites to win despite their loss of form at 8/11, with Sunrisers 11/10 outsiders.
Anrich Nortje to take over 1.5 wickets – 1/1
Recent trends at Dubai have suggested that the wickets are becoming quicker and better for batting, but also better for the quicker bowlers with the dew coming down onto the surface and Nortje has shown really good form at the ground – taking two wickets in each of his last three performances, and two wickets in each of his last three games at Dubai.
We expect more than 312.5 runs to be scored in the match, while Delhi to hit more sixes than Sunrisers is also a good bet.
