Sunrisers Hyderabad v Chennai Super Kings
13/10/20, 3pm (BST), Dubai
Sunrisers Hyderabad edged the first meeting between the two teams by just seven runs – though in reality the winning margin should have been much greater – but came out on the wrong end of a nail-biter on Sunday.
Their run of form was halted by Rajasthan Royals but other than a mad final few overs, they played a perfect game on a tricky wicket and would back themselves to win that game second time around, so they will have no concerns over their form – but another loss would damage their campaign significantly.
Chennai Super Kings must start winning soon but MS Dhoni and Stephen Fleming have both publicly admitted they have concerns over the makeup of their side and they look to be a team in need of inspiration.
Despite that, CSK are favourites for the win at 4/5 while Sunrisers are 1/1.
Sunrisers Hyderabad to win – 1/1
Despite back-to-back losses and some poor performances, CSK are still ranked as favourites which means Sunrisers offer very good value for a side who look well-balanced and in-form.
David Warner and Jonny Bairstow are an opening pair in good form and will be looking to make the most of the powerplay, so get on them to make the highest score in the first six overs at 10/11.
