Darren Bravo scored 25 off 16 and ensured the team stayed in the contest. Wahab Riaz, however, sent him packing with a peach of a delivery to leave Knight Riders needing 84 runs in 49 deliveries. Kieron Pollard then smashed 26 off 13, however, he couldn’t play till the end this time and guide the team home. David Wiese, once again, bowled brilliantly and picked his second five-wicket haul. Trinbago Knight Riders were eventually bundled out for 184 runs and thereby fell short of 21 runs.

On the other hand, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots beat Guyana Amazon Warriors by 6 wickets in the second semi-final to book their place in the finals. A combined bowling effort from St. Kitts helped the team restrict the opposition to 178 runs in the first innings. They didn’t allow the partnership to develop and struck wickets at regular intervals. Shimron Hetmyer’s late exploits, however, helped them to get a competitive 178-run total in the end.
Chris Gayle and Evin lewis gave the team a rollicking start. The duo added 78 runs in the first six overs. Gayle got out after scoring 42 off 27 but Evin Lewis continued his fireworks. Dwayne Bravo promoted himself at number three and it worked wonders for the team. The duo stitched an 88-run partnership and took the game away from the visitors. Bravo got out in the 16th over after scoring 34 runs off 31 balls, however, the Warriors had a little hope of winning the game by then. Ewin Lewis played an unbeaten knock of 77 runs off 39 balls and helped the team chase down the total in just 17.5 overs.
