Royal Challengers Bangalore v Kings XI Punjab
15/10/20, 3pm (BST), Sharjah
Could it finally be Royal Challengers Bangalore’s year? Every year they are tipped to go all the way but flatter to deceive, but on recent evidence they are very much a force to be reckoned with this season.
With Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers finding top form in the last couple of games and Chris Morris adding a new dimension to the bowling attack, they look to have all bases covered and could leapfrog Mumbai Indians in the top two.
Kings XI Punjab have won just one game – the reverse fixture between these teams – and last time out snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, so they are predictably second favourites to win at 6/5 against RCB who are 4/6.
KL Rahul to score over 35.5 runs – 1/1
It has been a tough tournament for the Kings XI skipper in terms of results, but his form with the bat has been red hot with scores of 21, 132* (against RCB), 69, 17, 63, 11 and 74.
He has already shown a liking for this attack so we expect him to pepper the short Sharjah boundaries once again, while de Villiers showed that the small ground is to his liking with a stunning 73* and at 3/1 could be a good bet to top score for RCB.
