Mumbai Indians v Sunrisers Hyderabad
4/10/20, 11am (BST), Sharjah
A huge win for Sunrisers Hyderabad over Chennai Super Kings on Friday evening lifted them up the IPL table and kept alive their hopes of a second IPL title. Mumbai Indians are also on course to life the trophy once again having beaten Kings XI Punjab in their last outing, but they will be concerned by their inconsistency having lost two and won two from their opening four matches.
Mumbai Indians won both matches last campaign, the second being a thrilling Super Over in Mumbai which followed a crushing 40 run win in Hyderabad in the opening fixture with Siddarth Kaul leading the charge as Sunrisers were bowled out for 96 inside 18 overs.
Mumbai Indians are heavy favourites for this win, priced at 4/6 to win back-to-back matches for the first time this season, while the Sunrisers are priced at 6/5.
We backed Indian opener Rohit Sharma in his head-to-head with KL Rahul last time out which was a success as Sharma bludgeoned 70. We think he is worth backing again here against David Warner with Sharma comfortably outscoring Warner so far in the tournament. Warner is yet to score a 50 in this tournament, with a top score of 45, so I see no reason to back him to outscore Sharma here.
