Mumbai Indians v Rajasthan Royals
6/10/20, 3pm (BST), Abu Dhabi
WINNER
MUMBAI INDIANS – 4/6
V
RAJASTHAN ROYALS – 6/5
Match Preview
Two wins in a row have really lifted the Mumbai Indians after a slow start but they’ll know a slip up in this match against the dangerous Rajasthan Royals will put them in danger of not reaching the play-offs. Rajasthan are moving in the other direction after their fast start to the tournament was curtailed by back-to-back losses, the latest coming against RCB in a game which finally saw Virat Kohli hit some form.
The bookmakers expect Mumbai to continue their decent run of form with odds of 4/6 available on them making it three wins in a row, with the Royals priced at 6/5 to end their poor run of form.
Our Prediction
Rajasthan Royals Most Match Sixes at 11/8
Although we agree with the bookmakers in the sense that Mumbai deserve to be favourites to win the game, there is value in backing the Royals to clear the ropes more times than their opposition. With Jos Buttler at the top of the order and some big-hitters down the order – namely Rahul Tewatia and Jofra Archer – they have the firepower to hit a decent number of maximums.
