Vitality Blast 2021 | Middlesex vs Kent Spitfires Betting Odds, Tips and Fantasy Cricket Team
Middlesex vs Kent Spitfires Match Preview
Bottom-placed Middlesex will play their final home game against Kent on Friday. The former endured an underwhelming performance this season, having managed to win only 3 games out of 12 games. They will be, however, be in good mood as they come into the game on the back of a win this week against Leicestershire in the County championship. Steven Finn and Co. would be wanting to end their T20 Blast campaign strongly.
Stephen Eskinazi will be missing the game against Kent owing to a groin injury. However, the addition of Varun Chopra as their new signing will come as a big boost. He would strengthen the batting unit. Steven Finn will lead the pace attack, which includes the likes of Tom Helm, Blake Cullen, and Daryl Mitchell to name a few. Besides, the team has a potent spin attack, comprising of Nathan Sowter, Mujeeb ur Rahman and Luke Hollman.

Facing them are Kent Spitfires, who sits at the top of the South Group table with 8 wins in 12 matches. Having already booked their spot for the playoffs, Kent would be keen to finish their league-stage campaign on a high. In their last T20 blast fixture, they registered a nine-wicket win against Surrey to book their place for the quarter-finals.
Bell-Drummond amassed 37-ball 53, while Oliver Robinson smashed 45 off 30 balls as the duo cruised Kent to a comfortable win. Zak Crawley will be back in the squad for the final two games after his stint with England’s ODI team against Pakistan.
Sam Billings won’t be available for the fixture as he has been ruled out after testing positive for Covid-19.

Adam Milne will lead the pace attack of Kent Spitfires against Middlesex. He has been in red hot form with the ball. In the last two games, Milne has claimed 6 wickets, including a four-wicket haul.
With Stephen Eskinazi not in the squad, the onus would be on Daryl Mitchell to play a big knock on Friday. Mitchell has played decent cameos but hasn’t managed to convert them into big scores. He would be hoping to end his campaign with match-winning knocks.

Joe Denly remains the ideal option to be the captain for your fantasy team. He opens the batting for the team and also bowls at least a few overs. He played a handy 26-ball 31 in the last game. Daniel Bell-Drummond bats at the top of the order and has been in great form with the bat. He scored a half-century in the last game and is a safe bet to pick as captain in your fantasy team.
As for the vice-captain, Daryl Mitchell is a safe bet due to his all-round potential. He can contribute points with both bat and ball. He bats inside the top four and bowls at least two overs for the team. Oliver Robinson is in fine touch and could be a decent option too.
