Kolkata Knight Riders v Chennai Super Kings
7/10/20, 3pm (BST), Abu Dhabi
It has been a mixed bag for both teams as they had to Abu Dhabi with two wins apiece.
Chennai Super Kings were the big story with their early struggles but a crushing 10-wicket win over Kings XI looks as though they are on the right path, and a succession of tight defeats is perhaps a sign that they are not far off playing their best cricket.
KKR suffered a setback against the Capitals at the weekend but still posted over 200 when chasing 228 to suggest their batting is firing, but they will need Pat Cummins to step up if they are to break into the top two.
The teams are both price at 10/11 for the win – a sign that this is expected to be a tight contest.
This looks a good bet to go big on, with the Knight Riders possessing some of the biggest hitters on show. Eoin Morgan is in good form, while Andre Russell is yet to explode and Nitish Rana has also been clearing the ropes.
CSK rely heavily on Faf du Plessis, Shane Watson and Sam Curran to do their big hitting and could find themselves tied down by Sunil Narine.
Cummins has a point to prove after an inconsistent start and at 6/4 to take over 1.5 wickets could be a good outside bet.
