Kings XI Punjab v Delhi Capitals
20/10/20, 3pm (BST), Dubai
Back-to-back wins for Kings XI Punjab have offered the tiniest glimpse of hope that they could yet qualify for the play-offs, but they cannot afford any more slipups along the way.
They have come through two nail biters including an incredible double Super Over on Sunday and those narrow wins, no doubt influenced by the return of Chris Gayle, should give them the confidence to get over the line a few more times.
There was nothing to separate these two teams earlier in the season when Delhi Capitals inched over the line, but they have gone from strength to strength since then and are established at the top of the table.
Shikhar Dhawan finally made his first IPL century and with Rishabh Pant due to come back, they are rightly favourites at 8/11 to win but Kings XI at 11/10 should not be written off.
KL Rahul to score a fifty – 7/4
The Kings XI captain has been in brilliant form with the bat and is well out in front in the running for the orange cap, with scores of 21, 132*, 69, 17, 63, 11, 74, 61* and 77 in the competition.
Given his recent form and confidence at finally getting two wins, his form could easily continue despite the strength of the Capitals attack.
Dhawan has 69*, 57 and 101* in his last three knocks so 11/5 for him in the same market is also a good bet, while 1/1 for under 330.5 runs to be scored is also good value.
