2nd T20I | England vs Pakistan Betting Tips and Dream11 Fantasy Cricket Team

Match Preview for England vs Pakistan 2nd T20I

The first T20I of the series turned out to be a high scoring thriller as both sides posted totals in excess of 200, but it was Pakistan who ended up winning the match by 31 runs. The loss would have hurt England’s ego pretty badly and that’s why they will be looking to make a strong comeback in this match.

England’s bowling attack was taken to the cleaners completely and that’s why they need to be much tighter in this match. The top-order needs to contribute as well. Apart from Jason Roy, all other top-order batsmen like Dawid Malan, Jonny Bairstow and Moeen Ali got dismissed cheaply. Even skipper Eoin Morgan failed to get going. If it wasn’t for Liam Livingstone’s record breaking century, England wouldn’t have gotten close to anywhere near Pakistan’s total.

As far as things for Pakistan go, they were absolutely brutal with their batting and the bowlers did a good job to defend their total. Shaheen Shah Afridi was very impressive with his line and lengths in a small ground. The only thing Pakistan needs to improve is their rate of scoring in the first half of the innings. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan’s batting approach in the first 10 overs was quite concerning as they batted slow. They just need to up the ante in the upcoming match as that will reduce unnecessary pressure on the middle-order batsmen.

England vs Pakistan Betting Tips

England to win – 57/100 @betway

England have a strong side and they can be expected to make a good comeback in this match. They do have the bowling ammunition and are a better batting side in comparison as well.

Babar Azam to be the top-scorer for Pakistan – 7/4 @betway

Babar has been in superb batting form ever since the PSL and he will be looking to continue that here. He is very reliable and his scoring approach makes him a consistent run-scorer as well.

Jonny Bairstow to be the leading run-getter for England – 11/4 @bet365

Bairstow thrives on good batting tracks at home and that’s why he can be expected to play a big knock here.

Captaincy Options for Dream11 Fantasy Cricket Team

Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan were seen in superb batting touch in the first T20I. They performed very well in the final match of the ODI leg as well. That’s why they are very good captaincy options for this match as well. Jonny Bairstow makes an equally good choice as well.

For vice-captaincy, Lewis Gregory is a good option due to his all-round ability. Same goes with Moeen Ali and David Willey.
