Delhi Capitals v Rajasthan Royals
14/10/20, 3pm (BST), Dubai
WINNER
DELHI CAPITALS – 8/11
V
RAJASTHAN ROYALS – 11/10
Match Preview
Ben Stokes didn’t have the impact he’d have hoped for upon returning to the Rajasthan Royals side, but they still managed to pull off an improbable win over Sunrisers and keep their championship hopes alive.
His arrival sparked a reshuffle in the line-up – which now looks much more balanced – but it was Rahul Tewatia who was the star.
They will have their work cut out going up against Delhi Capitals who thrashed them by 46 runs on Friday, but they will have a point to prove themselves after losing top spot.
The Capitals are 8/11 favourites to get back to winning ways while the Royals are 11/10.
Our Prediction
Under 328.5 runs in the match – 11/10
Dubai has been averaging around 320 runs per match so far in this year’s IPL, and with the wickets getting slower and lower, we expect that average figure to continue to drop.
Elsewhere, Prithvi Shaw was uncomfortable against Jofra Archer’s short balls so a price of 1/1 for him to score under 26.5 runs is also eye-catching.
