Delhi Capitals v Mumbai Indians
31/10/20, 10am (GMT), Dubai
DELHI CAPITALS – 11/10
MUMBAI INDIANS – 8/11
With three losses on the bounce, the pressure is creeping up on Delhi Capitals as the chasing pack close in on them and their top four spot looks a deal less secure than this time last week.
Just as concerning is the lack of form shown by key players such as Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant that has seen them fail to pass 135 for the past two games.
Mumbai Indians got back on track with an impressive chase against RCB and KKR’s defeat on Thursday means they are guaranteed a play-off spot, but they are again expected to be without Rohit Sharma – however they are yet to win a game at Dubai so far this season.
Hardik Pandya to hit the most sixes – 9/1
The India batsman is in hot form right now for Mumbai Indians, hitting nine sixes in his last two games and cementing his position ahead of Keiron Pollard in the middle-order.
He will be challenged by the death bowling of Kagiso Rabada but the Dubai surface should suit him and if his recent form is anything to go by he is likely to clear the boundary multiple times against a Delhi side who have been short in the six-hitting counts.
