v
MELBOURNE RENEGADES – 5/4

Match Preview
This is a rematch of Tuesday’s game, which saw the Renegades again crumble for just 111 when chasing something within their reach.
With Shaun Marsh out injured, there was too much pressure on Aaron Finch to deliver and his unfortunate first-ball dismissal led to another crushing defeat that leaves serious questions being asked over the management and makeup of the squad.
Things are unlikely to get better just three days later against a Strikers side who may have stumbled upon a working formula, with Jake Weatherald’s form having been moved down the order a revelation and Ryan Gibson also chipping in last time out.
With the form of the players and the match-ups on either side, it is hard to see the Renegades arresting their slump.
Our Tips
Peter Siddle over 1.5 wickets – 7/5 @ Betway
A previous tip of ours that came off and it would be daft not to get in on the action once again with Siddle in form and the Renegades line-up haplessly out of it. He took 3-16 in the last meeting, picking up wickets in the Power Surge and death overs, and will be expecting to repeat the feat again.
Alex Carey to top-score for Adelaide Strikers – 11/4 @ Bet365
Carey has been consistent for the Strikers since returning from international duty, with scores of 55, 9, 15, 82, 31 and 24. He will feel like he missed out last time out but remains their key batsman.
