Adelaide Strikers v Brisbane Heat
Match Odds
ADELAIDE STRIKERS – 4/5
v
BRISBANE HEAT – 21/20
21/1/21, 08:15am (GMT), Adelaide
Match Preview
The Strikers have fallen away somewhat and with just three games to go and no Rashid Khan, face an uphill battle to qualify for the play-offs.
However they remain just four points off second place such is the congested nature of the ladder, and one point off the Heat who they will overtake should they win in Adelaide on Thursday.
The Heat have also been unable to put together a run of consecutive performances and were heavily beaten last time out against the Scorchers, while they narrowly lost while chasing against the Strikers in the earlier fixture between the two sides.
Our Tips
Brisbane Heat to win – 21/20 @ Betway
The Heat have been the more impressive team over the course of the tournament and appear to be better balanced and in better form than the Strikers, who will miss Rashid against a powerful Heat batting line-up.
Jacob Burns (v Salt/Bryant) – 7/4 @ Bet365
Burns has been in good form for Heat since returning from international duty, with two not outs and a half-century to his name. If he spends some time at the crease, he has a good chance of outscoring the other two who have shone at times but all too briefly.
